LA FLORIDA REALTORS® ATTEND INTERNATIONAL COURSES

JEFF LANDRETH, MATT MCGUIRE RECEIVE FINANCIAL CERTIFICATION

As part of La Florida Coastal Properties LLC’s commitment to innovative service and market-leading sales strategies, two of the firm’s sales associates have received certification in International Investment and Financial Analysis. Jeffrey Landreth, La Florida Director of Business Development and Operations, and Matthew McGuire, a licensed Florida Realtor with the Grayton Beach-based firm, received the certification at a course sponsored by the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors.

The international finance course, along with a series of other courses that focus on real estate opportunities around the globe, is part of the requirements to receive the National Association of Realtors ® Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) certification. CIPS certified Realtors are trained in the unique dimensions of international practice, both to assist international buyers seeking to acquire property and to assist U.S. buyers in purchasing property overseas.

Landreth, a distinguished graduate with honors from the United States Air Force Academy, traveled extensively as an F-15 fighter pilot and instructor pilot. He received his Masters in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University,

and co-founded La Florida. Landreth’s travel with the military, as well as time spent living in England, contribute to his strong background in international markets. He is instrumental in bringing La Florida’s innovative blend of sales and marketing strategies to the international marketplace.

McGuire joined La Florida in 2005, and is also working to obtain his Florida architectural license. Prior to joining La Florida, he earned a Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas and assisted in design and project management of custom homes along the Emerald Coast. A summer of working with an architecture firm in Paris, France, and traveling throughout Europe sharpened McGuire’s focus on the opportunities of international real estate.
