Prior to starting the company in 2002, Jeff served as a combat pilot in the United States Air Force responsible for planning and executing complex operations in combat and exercises with US forces and allied countries. La Florida applies the leadership, management, and ethical principles Jeff utilized during his military career to its daily operations.
Jeff identifies strengths and weaknesses with the “brief, execute, and debrief approach to La Florida utilized when Jeff instructed and evaluated F15C fighter pilots. This continuous operations improvement results in the leveraging of technology including the creation of a customized development sales tracker that allows developers, administrators, escrow agents, and bankers to access a secure website via a personal computer or mobile device to facilitate communications and ensure the accuracy of data without compromising proprietary databases. This resulted in over a 50% reduction in contracts processing time for the efficient closing of construction loans while almost eliminating inaccuracies.
Jeff's leadership and management experience gained during his time as the Chief of Scheduling, Mobility and Test Targets and Simulations resulted in La Florida's strong and managed growth while maintaining the integrity of the company's brand and unique style of boutique real estate consulting, marketing, and sales.
Jeff is a distinguished graduate, with honors, of the United States Air Force Academy, and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
